The Islamic Society of East Bay (ISEB) is honored to be one of the only major masajid in the Bay Area providing full Janazah and Funeral Services. We consider it a sacred trust to care for our community in times of loss, ensuring that every step of the process is performed with ihsan (excellence), compassion, and complete adherence to Islamic tradition.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Hasten with the funeral…” (Bukhari & Muslim). At ISEB, we take this duty seriously by providing immediate and complete support for families during their most difficult moments.

Our Services

• Ghusl (Ritual Washing) – Performed with care in our on-site mortuary.
• Kafan (Shrouding) – Preparation of the body according to Sunnah.
• Janazah Prayer – Held at ISEB Masjid with community support.
• Burial Assistance – Coordination with cemeteries and transportation.
• Family Support – Compassionate guidance and logistical help throughout the process.

2. Provide necessary details to begin arrangements.
3. Our team will guide you through the ghusl, kafan, Janazah prayer, and burial process.
